Women in Animation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of women in the animation industry.

The Academy of Interactive Entertainment(AIE) has scholarships for students based on financial need and merit.

#11. SkillsUSA 3-D Visualization and Animation Scholarship

This scholarship program sponsored by Skills USA is an annual scholarship award program in 3-D Visualization and Animation. Nevertheless, Skills USA Championship Sponsored by Art Institutes.

Candidates are expected to submit a finished animated short video using 3-D computerized images.

The winner of this prestigious scholarship is decided by a panel of industry professionals, having the scholarships go to the first, second and third place winners.

Candidates who are members of SkillsUSA may compete in local, state, and national championships.

The Waubonsee Community College Foundation Animation Scholarships provide $500 credit for tuition. Candidates must have a minimum 2.75 high school or college GPA.
